Environmental dredging projects, or those performed for the purpose of removing harmful or potentially harmful contaminants from the natural environment, are core to IAI's business. IAI has participated in these projects as Subcontractor, processing up to 2.2 million cubic yards of contaminated sediment for a single project, and has also self-performed all aspects of a sediment cleanup, from dredging to dewatering, water treatment and capping.
IAI dredged 180,000 cubic yards of in-situ material from Conner Creek to create capacity for a new combined sewage overflow treatment facility.
