IAI provides water treatment services for dredging projects throughout the United States, with the bulk of our work performed in the Great Lakes watershed and on the East Coast. To date, we have successfully treated and discharged 2.6 billion gallons of water produced by dredging operations.
Our company was initially founded to provide contract operations services for municipal water and wastewater treatment facilities and currently serve 100+ clients under long-term contract. Our greatest strength in dredging water treatment is the depth of experience among our personnel – whether it be a treatment process, piece of equipment, operating strategy, or discharge permit, it’s likely we have personnel on staff who have successfully worked with it in the past. We have 50 licensed water and wastewater treatment operators on staff. Our operators hold the highest level of municipal, industrial and stormwater certifications in several Midwest states and are eligible to apply for reciprocity in other states.
