IAI, located in Rockford, Michigan (near Grand Rapids), is seeking an experienced Human Resources/Administrative Assistant to assist with the day-to-day operations of the human resources function for the following areas: recruitment, employment, benefits, HRIS, payroll, employee relations, and records maintenance. This position is responsible for front office coverage including answering the main switchboard and assisting callers, and for providing secretarial and clerical support to the office staff.
Qualified candidates will have an Associate’s Degree or equivalent experience and a minimum two years’ experience working in an office setting in a secretarial/administrative support capacity. Extensive computer and software skills are required including proficiency using Microsoft programs: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Experience using HRIS, Quick Books or similar database program(s), strongly preferred. Experience in assisting with recruitment, benefits, payroll, HRIS systems, and record keeping, strongly preferred.
