The IAI team is growing! We are happy to report five Contract Operations personnel have joined IAI since January: Dave Krueger, Jared LeClercq, Zach Lewis, Matthew Schindewolf, and Eric Stein. A little about each, below. Please join us in welcoming these men to our staff of wastewater treatment professionals.
Dave Krueger is an Operations Specialist at the Springbrook Wastewater Treatment Facility in Antigo, Wisconsin. Dave was raised in Antigo and looks forward to raising a family there with his wife, Gretchen. He has a degree in welding from Northwest Technical College and brings many mechanical and technical skills to his new position with IAI.
Jared LeClercq, Operations Specialist, was hired in June of this year as relief operator. He will be supporting several IAI projects in southwest Michigan, including: Cook Nuclear Plant Sanitary WWTP, Lakes Area Sewer Authority, and Porter Township Wastewater Utility. Jared comes to us from Granger, Indiana.
Zach Lewis is an Operations Specialist at the Brighton Township Wastewater Treatment Plant in Brighton, Michigan. He enjoys deer hunting and playing softball, and has several years of college education, continuing to work toward a degree. Zach, like Dave Krueger, is also a newlywed. He and his wife, Paige, are expecting their first child very soon.
Matthew Schindewolf has joined Zach Lewis in Brighton, serving as the new Plant Manager of the Township’s Class B wastewater treatment facility. Matt held a Class A wastewater license, Michigan’s highest designation, for 25 years. He brings over 30 years of experience to IAI, and has received numerous operations and safety awards over the course of his career, including MWEA’s William F. Shepherd and Public Utilities Manager of the Year. Matt is also a state certified firefighter and EMT.
Eric Stein is IAI’s new Plant Manager at the Billings Township Wastewater Treatment Facility in Beaverton, Michigan. Eric was educated at Delta College and currently holds Michigan Class C wastewater and A-1b and A-1d industrial wastewater treatment licenses. He has four years of previous municipal wastewater treatment experience.
