IAI is fortunate to have many generous employees, who contribute to their communities and the wider world in a variety of ways. Zach Lewis, a member of IAI’s Brighton Township staff, is a great example.
This past winter, Zach spent 10 days in Panama, donating his time and talents to a mission sponsored by the Church of the Nazarene. The purpose of the mission was to help construct a new church in the village of Playa Chiquita.
Part of a volunteer group of 12 people, Zach used his maintenance skills to install electrical wiring in the new church building. Zach is fluent in Spanish, so he was also able to translate for the group as they worked. Zach says the experience was very rewarding and he has been invited to return to Panama in the fall.
Zach has been a member of the IAI team since 2014. He is an Operations Specialist at the Brighton Township Wastewater Treatment Plant in Brighton, Michigan.
