Summary of IAI’s work on the Fond du Lac River & Marina Maintenance Dredging Project in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin
Coal Ash (Fly Ash) Pond Dredging
IAI provided hydraulic dredging and geotextile tube installation services for this project, which removed 25,000 cubic yards of coal ash from a pond at a power plant in North Carolina.
Coal Ash Maintenance Dredging
IAI utilized an 8″ swinging ladder dredge to remove 20,000 cubic yards of coal ash from a pond in New York, and dewatered the dredged material with a Total Clean mechanical dewatering system.
Lake Sinissippi Wetland Rehabilitation
IAI dredged sediment from Lake Sinissippi to fill geotextile tubes, creating a barrier between the lake and an adjacent wetland area. The geotextile tube installation successfully stopped erosion and destruction of the wetland by non-game fish species, allowing restoration of the natural habitat.
