IAI self-performed all portions of the Portage Canal Segment 1 environmental dredging project, from hydraulic dredging, to geotextile tube dewatering, water treatment and placement of a sand cap, utilizing specialized equipment, some custom-made for this project.
Mill River Remediation
IAI provided dredged material dewatering and water treatment services for this environmental dredging project, processing 36,000 cubic yards of lead-impacted sediment in geotextile tubes and treating over 100 million gallons of water under NPDES permit requirements.
East Branch Grand Calumet River Remedial Action
IAI provided geotextile tube dewatering and water treatment services on this project, processing 145,000 cubic yards of PCB contaminated sediments and successfully treating and discharging 196 million gallons of water under an NPDES discharge permit.
Borrow Pit Remediation
IAI provided geotextile tube dewatering and water treatment services for this project, dewatering 14,000 cubic yards of PCBs contaminated sediment and treating up to 1,000 gpm of water flow.
Conner Creek CSO Dredging Project
IAI dredged 180,000 cubic yards of in-situ material from Conner Creek to create capacity for a new combined sewage overflow treatment facility. The project involved the removal of approximately 100,000 cubic yards of contaminated sediments utilizing an 8 inch diameter swinging ladder dredge and an 8 inch diameter auger dredge. A specially designed header system, […]
Brownfield Raceways Remediation
IAI self-performed hydraulic dredging, geotextile tube dewatering and water treatment operations for this environmental dredging project, involving the removal of highly concentrated PCBs and sediment from underground raceways.
