IAI provides contract operations, maintenance and management services for the City of Menominee, Michigan’s water and wastewater utilities, and has since 2001. IAI’s team of nine environmental professionals operates the utilities that serve the residents of Menominee each day.
IAI provided design-build-operate geotextile tube dewatering and water treatment services for this Remedial Action project. TSCA and Non-TSCA regulated sediments were processed separately in the same dewatering facility, at a flow rate of 3,000 gpm. The water treatment facility met the non-detect PCBs discharge limit throughout the project.
IAI provided geotextile tube dewatering and water treatment services on this project, processing 145,000 cubic yards of PCB contaminated sediments and successfully treating and discharging 196 million gallons of water under an NPDES discharge permit.
IAI was the General Contractor for all landside operations on the Ottawa River Remediation Project (2010). The project involved hydraulic dredging of 242,000 cubic yards of contaminated sediment from the Ottawa River near Toledo, OH. IAI was responsible for geotextile tube dewatering in place, water treatment operations, and maintaining separation of TSCA and Non-TSCA regulated material during processing.
